Here is how it went we had our car towed there to have the engine replaced. My wife called and discussed the repairs and the time line over the phone. She was told that it would take about a week and a half because they had to order the engine and wait for it to get there. This was acceptable. We even paid half up front as well as another $2000 "good faith" money. At the end of the week and a half however she called to see how things were going as was told that they hadn't even started working on it. Then she was told that there was no record that we had paid anything and that there was no guarantee when they would get to it. So we had given them $4000 to sit on our car while I suspect they took more lucrative jobs. My wife had to practically scream at the owner and tell him to put the guy that we had been dealing with on the line because he knew more about what was going on. This was our family car. Not something extra that we wanted to fix up for the hell of it so while this business jerked us around for an extra couple of weeks we were forced to pay for a car rental. Luckily our house had burned down a couple months before so we had insurance money that could have been helpful in other places, Worst experience of my life.
Very fair and gives all available options. Service has been great. I would highly recommend this facility to all.
Okay not sure why this business has such a high rating I think maybe it is because they do a lot of commercial stuff. The owner is an idiot that tried to treat my wife like she didn't know what she was talking about. They kept our car for about two weeks longer than they had promised and they fried our radio and wouldn't admit to it. He just kept telling us that he couldn't remember that it worked when we brought in our car.
DON'T BRING YOUR CAR HERE!!!! I brought my vehicle in for a noise from the FRONT left. Three days and nearly $1,000 later, they repaired the BACK differential and axle seals. Shortly thereafter, the sound from the front left reoccurred. I ended up bringing the vehicle to the dealer where I purchased the vehicle, who diagnosed the issue as a problem with the left front bearing. The dealer also had to replace the leaking left seal, that supposedly Cusson replaced. Not only did Cusson misdiagnose the problem, they put in faulty parts in my vehicle. When I called to speak to Don (the owner), it took him over 3 weeks to get back to me.....and that was after I called him twice!!!! He was unprofessional and unwilling to refund my money for the diagnostic charge, axle seal, and repair . He asked why I didn't bring the vehicle back to Cusson. Now that was a stupid question, to which I'd ask - Why didn't your guys fix the vehicle correctly in the first place?????? Terrible diagnosticians!!!!! Terrible mechanics!!!!! Lack of professionalism and customer-based business practices!!!!! Don't do business here!!!!!!!
They still have my vehicle so the jury is still out. I'm very hopeful for a peaceful resolution, but so far this company is only mediocre. I will edit this review one way or the other when i see how it ends. For now i suggest using caution when doing business with them.
