Good service, quality care just a bit pricey

Very Sincerely,

This is one of the best veterinary offices I have ever been to, I had moved and was a little over due with my two cats' vaccinations. The older cat also had seemed to have lost quite a bit of weight and (one of them?) was getting sick every week and a half or so. The staff, tech and the doctors were friendly, professional, gentle, proficient and compassionate. When I was on my way out, I was really impressed. THEN, when I got to the counter and was told the amount due...I WAS REALLY IMPRESSED. It was at least a third less than I was expecting! I am so glad I found them.

Nice, friendly atmosphere. The office is clean, neat and comfortable. Love the folks there. I have been a patient at this facility for over 16 years. My current dog is "special needs" meaning he doesn't do well with strange people or dogs and they have always been accommodating for him and I appreciate that. They are thorough, caring and understanding.

I have been going to South Windsor Vet Clinic for almost 15 years with my first 2 angels Daisy and Murphy and now with my 2 gingers, Sadie and Sophie. SWVC has been my trusted vet and I couldn't be happier. The have a very compassionate staff that truly care about my pets. Dr. Rose and her team are absolutely amazing they go above and beyond for their patients. I highly recommend them!!

Had a horrible experience putting my beloved 12 year old black lab down. A time which is so very difficult, which you hope to go peacefully and smoothly. She was extremely anxious when the doctor came into the room. Then, to my horror, she was not given enough medication for the initial step, and I literally had to hold her down while Dr. Rose had to leave the room to get more medication to sedate her. My dog was trying to get up to escape (understandably, medicated) .She then gave her the meds to stop her heart, after multiple pokes to her legs because "she couldn't feel it because she was sleeping". It was the most traumatic experience I have ever gone through. Then, we were left with her. When we were done saying our good-byes, I asked about my dog in the room ~ I was told she was to be left there. Neither the doctor nor the tech checked on us. Yes ~ Dr. Rose did call to check in the next day. However, I felt that it was an obligatory call on her part. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone. I will never forget the experience I had, as I feel I could have stopped the procedure the minute my poor dog ran behind the chair when the veterinarian walked in the room. That is what keeps me awake at night.
