The facility is very nice, and I presume with a better funeral director you may have better luck. My family worked with Terry and it was absolutely horrible. He's not a people person, and is unsupportive and doesn't often follow through with your wishes.

We worked with Brian Bentley for both of our parent's funerals in the past 2 years. We can't say enough good things about him. He is a wonderful, caring, compassionate person who helped us through this difficult process. He was always available when we called and made our entire family feel as if we were the only clients he had. We even had moments of laughter during this process which certainly helped. Brian has a wonderful sense of tasteful humor. We cannot express enough our thanks and appreciation to Brian Bentley and Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home for helping us to create a beautiful celebration of their lives and memorable send off for each of our parents.
This past year has been very traumatic on my entire family. In February of this year, we suffered a great loss, my uncle, without really knowing where to go, we turned to Carmon Funeral Home where we met Terry Mullins. He was wonderful in taking care of all of the family's requests. Just this month, we suffered the loss of my beloved grandfather. Knowing that we received such good care with my uncle's service, we immediately were in contact with Terry once again. When meeting with him to take care of the preparations for the services for my grandfather, he was so compassionate. Once again, making sure every second of the services, from the wake to the funeral were exactly the way the family wanted it to be. Although he was not able to be there for the service, he left Frank in charge where everything from start to finish was perfect! Even after the services, sitting down with my family and instructing them on exactly what to do! I would like to thank the Carmon Funeral Homes for being there for my family during this terribly traumatic year! I appreciate how consoling everyone has been and would definitely recommend Terry Mullins to anyone needing assistance in laying their family/friends to rest! Thank you again!!!
I attended calling hours on an extremely hot and humid day this week. We arrived at 4:05 pm for a 4:00 - 7:00 viewing. It was already very warm and uncomfortable inside. I realize it's very difficult to keep things cool inside when a door is continually opened but if it had started out already cool inside things may have gone better. The family of the deceased was already so hot and uncomfortable I can't imagine how things were as the evening progressed. It seems if you are in this business and know it's going to be a very hot day, this could be handled better. No one seemed to know how to handle keeping the line wrapped around inside the lobby so more people could be out of the heat either. When we arrived we had to depend on other people attending to know where the end of the line was, it was very chaotic.
