I've been buying the same model here over and over again. I don't even try them on usually. The last time I picked up a pair the lady that helped me was incredibly rude and pushy. Basically told me a list of foot problems I might be having in the future if I don't buy their inserts. I'll be ordering them online from now on
Slightly more expensive than Amazon, but if you don't know what type of running shoe you need then it's best to spend the extra $10. Yes, the workers and that foot scanning machine are very accurate in predicting what type of shoe you need. When I went to my podiatrist a year ago, it took him about 30 minutes to figure out what was wrong with my feet. It took the New Balance salesman and their machine about 30 seconds. And I know it was accurate because it was literally the exact same thing that the doctor had told me last year. I didn't feel like they were overly pushy, as one reviewer has said, but I have no doubt that they "guide" you to certain models. It doesn't really bother me, though, because I already knew the few models of shoes that I needed in the first place, and those were exactly the ones they told me I should consider. I'm only taking a star off on the review because their color selection isn't as big as you would find online. While they may carry most of their running shoe models, they don't have a lot of variation in the color scheme. Ultimately I would say if you know exactly the type of shoe that you want/need, I would buy it on Amazon because you'll get a wider selection of colors and it'll probably save you between $10 to $20
My husband was having foot issues with his shoes so I suggested we visit the New Balance store for new work shoes. Damien waited on us and he could not have been nicer or more helpful! He measured my husbands feet and did a pressure test on them. The shoes that my husband bought along with the inserts that Damien suggested made a huge difference in the way my husband walked. We would highly recommend going to the New Balance Store!
Feet were killing me. Heard the advertisements. Gave it a shot. The man scanned my feet and asked me where my pain was. I think his name was frank. Told him my heels hurt. My feet ended up rolling in pretty bad. I got some support sneakers with arch supports and I've been pain free since i've bought them. Very knowledgable and friendly staff good experience.
This store has saved my life! New Balance has a great shoe and an outstanding team! I have major problems with my feet and have gone to them for years. Recently, my feet have been in constant pain and I can barely walk. Owner, Michael Disibio always takes time to see me, sit, and listen to my challenges. He supports me in any way he can and I am welcome at any time for changes and support! It is a great product and the owner and team have kept me coming back! Pain is hard and comfort and knowledge is important. Thank you to Michael and his team. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, caring for me, and helping relieve my pain! I will forever be grateful. Number one store in my family's eyes!
